A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.
Shuswap North Okanagan PCN is a partnership which brings together primary care providers, First Nations communities, Interior Health Authority and Community representatives for the planning and delivery of primary health care services which meet the needs of people living within the Shuswap North Okanagan. This includes people living in the following communities:
- Armstrong
- Enderby
- Lumby
- Okanagan Indian Band
- Salmon Arm
- Sicamous
- Sorrento
- Splatsin
- Vernon

Cardiac patients at times face life-or-death situations and need timely care. In Salmon Arm, they are receiving that quick care thanks to the work of the cardiology team.

Pharmacists are an important part of your health care team and offer a variety of services. They are able to assess and prescribe for 21 minor ailments, prescribe contraceptives, renew prescriptions, and give vaccines.
