Find a family doctor or nurse practitioner
If you need a primary care provider, register on the Health Connect Registry to get matched with a family doctor or nurse practitioner in your community.
Register yourself, your family or others under your care. When a provider becomes available in your community, you will be contacted. Registration takes less than five minutes. Go to healthlinkbc.ca/hcr to register.
Shuswap North Okanagan PCN is actively recruiting family doctors and nurse practitioners in order to increase provider capacity and support improved access to care for members of our community.
What’s happening in your community

Cardiac patients at times face life-or-death situations and need timely care. In Salmon Arm, they are receiving that quick care thanks to the work of the cardiology team.

A new dialysis unit in Vernon in an expanded space has started taking patients. The new unit will almost double the number of dialysis treatments that can be performed locally on an annual basis.

People living in Vernon and surrounding communities will benefit from increased access to team-based care as planning progresses on a second urgent and primary care centre (UPCC).
