Southern Gulf Islands Primary Care connects communities with family doctors, nurse practitioners & health services for accessible, community-based care.

The Outer Southern Gulf Islands are part of the unceded territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ Indigenous peoples who are also part of the Coast Salish First Nations, including the SȾÁUTW̱, Tseycum, Tsartlip, Pauquachin, Penelakut, Lyackson, and other First Nations.

Overview

The Southern Gulf Islands Primary Care team is working with local clinics to help connect people to a primary care provider, either a family doctor or nurse practitioner. This includes people living in the following communities:

  • Pender Island
  • Galiano Island
  • Mayne Island
  • Saturna Island
